LETT
Switch from Strong to Lett and bring your whole workout history
Lett reads the CSV export from Strong. All your workouts, with exercises, sets, reps and weight, come along. It is free, takes a few minutes, and you see what will be added before anything is saved.
Opens Lett. Sign in or create a free account and the import is ready.
How to move your log from Strong
Export from Strong
Open the settings in Strong and choose to export your data. You get a CSV file (strong.csv). Save it on your phone or computer.
Open Lett
Create a free account, or try it without one. Lett runs in the browser and installs like an app.
Import the file
Go to Settings → Import data and pick the CSV file. If you train in pounds, tick that box. Lett shows how many workouts are new before you confirm.
What comes along
- Every workout with its date, name, duration and notes.
- Exercises, sets, reps and weight, including warm-up sets, drop sets and RPE.
- Cardio with time and distance.
- Weights in kg or pounds.
- Exercises are matched to Lett's exercise library. Names it does not know are added as your own exercises, so nothing is lost.
What does not come along
Routines, body weight and photos are not in the CSV file from Strong. Routines take a couple of minutes to recreate in Lett, and body weight is logged under Progress.
Why Lett
- Free to use, with no ads.
- Made in Norway, with your data on a server in Norway (EEA).
- Train Together: work out live with friends and see each other's sets in real time.
- No app store: open lett.fit in the browser and install it as an app on your phone.
- Your data is yours: never shared, never sold, and you can delete your account whenever you like.
Common questions
Does importing cost anything?
No. Importing is free, both from Strong and from a Lett backup.
Can I import more than once?
Yes. Workouts that are already in Lett are skipped, so you can run the import again after a new export.
My weights are in pounds
Newer Strong files do not say which unit was used, so tick the pounds box before importing. Lett then converts.
What if an exercise does not exist in Lett?
It is added as your own exercise with the same name, and the history follows.
Can I try without an account?
Yes. Choose "Try without an account" and your data stays on your device until you decide to save it to an account.
